When you’re going through a difficult or overwhelming moment, support is available. The resources below connect you to crisis services that can help you feel heard, supported, and safe. If you need immediate mental health support, call, text, or chat 988 for free, confidential help. If you are in immediate danger, call 911.
Immediate Crisis & Urgent Support:

- Washington Recovery Help Line: 866-789-1511 (24/7) Anonymous and confidential help for substance use, mental health, and gambling challenges. www.warecoveryhelpline.org
- Ituha Stabilization Center (Oak Harbor): A voluntary, short-term residential facility for people experiencing a mental health crisis or needing sub-acute detox.
- Providence Behavioral Health Urgent Care (Everett): Offers urgent (non-emergency) mental health care, including virtual appointments.
- 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline: The 988 Lifeline provides 24/7, free and confidential support for people in distress, prevention and crisis resources for you or your loved ones.
- Citizens Against Violence & Sexual Abuse (CADA): Free, confidential, 24/7 support for Island County residents.
- Veterans Assistance: Find available support through Island County Human Services.
- For emergency housing support, get help from the Whidbey Island Homeless Coalition. Ryan’s House for Youth provides support for young people facing homelessness ages 18-24. SPiN Café in Oak Harbor provides daytime shelter services, along with meals.
